[Review] Freya Deco Half Cup - 28E

I'll admit; I'm still a fan of push up bras. Old habits die hard they say. Now there aren't many push up bras available in the DD+ circle, and this one is considered one of the more superior ones. Being a fan of the Deco range, I ordered it, hoping for the best.

General
The push up entry in the Freya Deco range, featuring non removable bump it pads in the bottom of the cup. A seamless, moulded, padded, half cup bra, the only half cup shape in the Deco range.

Look
Plain beige base with a little darker beige bow in the center, and on the top of the cups where it meets the straps. Little fabric trims adorn the underside of the band.

Band
Plain beige band featuring 2 hooks and 3 eyes. The band is very loose and stretchy; size at least one size down if you can.

Cups
The push up pads in the bottom of the cups are designed to give the breasts an extra uplift. The push up pads are almost as wide as the cup, and thick but not overtly so; they don't add a cup size. You may want to size up from you regular Deco size by at least one cup size, maybe two if you have very full on bottom breasts.

Center Gore & Wires
The center gore is high and narrow, typical for half cups. The wires are wide, avoid if you strictly wear narrow wires.

Straps
Fully adjustable straps, featuring the same material and bulky pattern of the Deco regular. They're a bit thinner than the straps on the regular Deco though. The straps are too wide set for me; not great for narrow shoulders.

Fit
Underneath a T-shirt

It's fine after scoop&swoop and wearing it on the tightest hook, but after I while I get gaping near the center gore, where my breast tissue doesn't fill up all the way; it's unnoticeable under clothes. I have to constantly readjust the straps, and I get gaping when I slouch. I do get slight quadboobing, esp. with my larger breasts, though no quadboobing near the center. The band is definitely too big; I'm either altering it or wearing it permanently with a Rixie Clip. It does what it's advertised well: giving a nice push up effect.

Comfort
The wires and center gore dig in after a while, becoming very painful. Cups and band are of comfortable material, but the straps are itchy.

Verdict
A good push up bra, but it seems just too wide for my frame, causing fit and comfort issues. It's a good one if you wear sub-32 and DD+ and in want/need/lust of a bra with push up pads, as it does its job nicely.
